Client Testimonial

".... I think that the acupuncture and trigger point work was very helpful. I am feeling better than I've felt in months, and way less pain in my back and hips. My chiropractor even remarked that my low back/sacral area was in better shape than he's seen it since before the accident. I am so grateful to not be in constant pain, day in and day out....It seems acupuncture did more for my low back pain than anything so far."

Many of our LMP's offer other styles beyond the popular modalities featured on the New Seattle Massage practitioner pages.

The focus of my work is treating musculoskeletal issues and is a direct influence of my past dance career, athletic background, and personal experience with injuries. I am also able to treat a myriad of other health concerns with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. My lifelong journey of searching for answers to my own health concerns has given me a deep empathy and understanding for the people I treat.

My work is very specific and detail oriented, focusing primarily on pain management and injury treatment. I also do work focused on relaxation, overall wellness and energy-balancing. I utilize a combination of modalities according to my client's needs.

I do both massage and acupuncture sessions. I also combine acupuncture and massage into a single session. When doing massage, I utilize myofascial release techniques, trigger point work, cross-fiber friction, some craniosacral work, muscle energy technique, Swedish and deep tissue massage. I work with postural issues that may be contributing to chronic pain, and may also suggest exercises and stretches that may help with your specific condition.

When doing acupuncture, I use traditional Chinese acupuncture, Japanese style acupuncture, and a more "American" style acupuncture needling trigger point and motor points. I also give dietary, herbal and lifestyle recommendations from a Chinese Medical perspective.

I especially enjoy getting to know my clients, learning about their specific needs, and imparting the knowledge I have to help my clients improve the quality of their lives.

Health issues I have treated: whiplash, shoulder pain, back and hip pain, knee pain, foot pain, plantar fascitis, carpal tunnel pain, arm, hand, wrist and elbow pain, leg pain, sinus congestion and pain, menopausal concerns, insomnia, digestive problems, dietary concerns, headaches and jaw pain.

I will accept other insurance plans other than those listed if "out of network" providers are allowed by your insurance plan. I also accept personal injury claims/PIP (car accidents) and Labor and Industry claims/L&I (injuries on the job).
